Jasmine Carney, LCMHCA traded the snowy winters of Eau Claire, Wisconsin for the sunshine and coastal charm of Wilmington, North Carolina. She works with adults, especially college students, millennials, new moms, and veterans, who are navigating grief, relationship challenges, postpartum adjustment, anxiety, and major life transitions. In session, Jasmine is calm, compassionate, and easy to connect with. She creates a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.
Jasmine works collaboratively with clients to create meaningful goals that fit their unique experiences and values while building practical skills for everyday life. Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths based interventions, and Gottman informed relationship principles. Jasmine has completed Gottman Level One Training and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing evidence based and trauma informed education.
Jasmine specializes in working with adults navigating grief. Grief and loss can change every part of daily life. Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a meaningful relationship, or adjusting to a major life transition, it is common to feel like the world no longer looks the way it once did. Jasmine provides a steady, compassionate space where clients can process their experiences without feeling rushed or pressured to have all the answers.
Jasmine is passionate about helping adults with relationship challenges. She enjoys working with individuals who want to better understand themselves within relationships, improve communication, or navigate conflict with greater confidence. Whether you are questioning a relationship, recovering from heartbreak, or finding yourself repeating unhealthy patterns, Jasmine offers a place to build clarity, strengthen boundaries, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Jasmine is skilled in helping new moms. Postpartum adjustment is one of the biggest transitions many mothers will experience. Becoming a mother can bring joy alongside anxiety, exhaustion, self doubt, and a deep shift in identity. Jasmine works with new moms who may feel overwhelmed by the pressure to do everything right while quietly wondering why this season feels harder than expected. She provides a supportive space to process those emotions, reconnect with yourself, and move through motherhood with greater confidence, self trust, and compassion.
Fun fact: Jasmine is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who spent four years living in Japan.
