Mindful Self Compassion Group

An intimate 8-session therapy group on acceptance and compassion in your daily life.

Do you struggle with quieting a loud inner critic?

Does perfectionism limit you from embracing true authenticity?

Do you find yourself comparing and doubting your worthiness?

Does inner doubt and criticism impact your relationship, school or job?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, it's likely you would benefit from the powerful effects of mindful self-compassion. In this 8-session, intimate and peer-focused therapy group you will learn skills and applicable techniques to gently form acceptance of and create compassion towards our most vulnerable and imperfect parts.

What is Mindful Self-Compassion?

What is Mindful Self-Compassion?

Research has shown that mindful self-compassion supports individuals experiencing a variety of psychological struggles such as anxiety, depression and feelings of shame. Through increased mindful awareness, we have the potential to gain a deeper understanding of our emotional experience with kindness and acceptance. Even further, the non-judgmental approaches of mindful self-compassion assist us in navigating uncomfortable feelings in order to build overall emotional resilience and regain a sense of worthiness and adequacy.

Showing up for ourselves with kindness and compassion not only transforms the relationship with ourselves but also the relationships with others. Our inner critic focuses on shouting that we are “not enough” for others, for ourselves, for our work. Mindful self-compassion shifts us to befriending and accepting ourselves in all of our imperfect humanness in order to show up more truly and authentically in all capacities.
