Sarah uses a collaborative approach to create a treatment plan that best fits each of her client’s needs. She utilizes evidence-based practices rooted in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Sarah brings specialized expertise in substance abuse treatment and holds an additional credential as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). She is an expert in the substance abuse treatment field and trained to work with individuals struggling with substance use issues.
Sarah specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety of all kinds, and has a special place in her heart for individuals who are struggling with people-pleasing behaviors. Utilizing evidence-based practices, Sarah empowers her clients to set healthy boundaries, manage anxious thoughts, and embrace their true, authentic self.
She is passionate about working with adults who have experienced trauma. Surviving traumatic experiences can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of where to start. Sarah is skilled at meeting her clients exactly where they are, and is collaborative in her approach to working with clients to both process their traumatic experiences and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
Sarah also specializes in working with adults who are currently in recovery from substance use issues.
