Kelly Moran, LCMHCS

Kelly is our resident-Ohio native and loves our quaint beach town with a passion. She specializes in working with adults and couples. Kelly is down-to-earth in sessions as she pairs warmth with ‘get it done’ energy.

Kelly is trained in Gottman Relational Therapy, based on over forty years of couples and relationship research. Her treatment foundation is evidence-based and customized to fit each client’s individual needs. Kelly pulls from therapeutic techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

Kelly is skilled in providing couples therapy for premarital counseling. Kelly believes knowing yourself deeply leads to finding your person. Kelly guides adults in taking their relationship to the next level by tackling all things couple-y from guided discussions about finances to even thinking ahead about family planning and parenting for the first time. By addressing potential challenges early on and equipping couples with practical tools and insights, Kelly supports couples in building a long lasting partnership.

Kelly specializes in working with new moms, especially stressed new moms trying to do it all. She knows after the birth of a child comes chaos, exhaustion, new tension in relationships, new priorities and it’s all just as beautiful as it is challenging. Kelly challenges mothers who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone to reprioritize their own well-being. She helps those who put themselves last take time for self-care, develop a strong awareness of their own feelings and needs, and develop strong boundaries with others.

Kelly is passionate about working with adults who suffer from anxiety of all kinds. She helps individuals cope with feeling overwhelmed from the pressures of competing life obligations related to family, friends, work, intimate relationships, finances, and another million plus one other things!  She helps lost adults find their direction and their strengths through self compassion using guided imagery, art, music, and writing.

Fun Fact: Kelly is an avid Browns and Ohio State fan and loves to golf and ski.
