Kelly Moran

Meet Our Online Therapist Kelly Moran

Kelly Moran, is Cleveland native and she is overjoyed to live at the beach and call Wilmington home. She loves working with millennials and adults. Kelly’s vibe is ‘calm and grounded. She’s really funny, and down to earth. In sessions, she pairs warmth with ‘get it done’ energy.

Kelly’s work is anchored in evidence-based techniques, but she loves working with individuals interested in exploring the range of possibilities outside of traditional talk therapy. She knows that some individuals benefit from a direct and structured approach, while others may find healing by incorporating expressive techniques. If you’d like to schedule counseling services with Kelly, contact Clarity Counseling Center in Wilmington today!

Kelly has a special place in her heart for working with new moms, especially stressed new moms trying to do it all. She knows after the birth of a child comes chaos, exhaustion, new tension in relationships, new priorities and it’s all just as beautiful as it is challenging. She understands that between parenting, work, family, and social demands, many women consider their own well-being last, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, lonely, and maxed out. She helps those who put themselves last take time for self-care, develop a strong awareness of their own feelings and needs, and develop strong boundaries with others. Therapy for Moms provides an opportunity for moms to focus on their own needs and passions, restore their sense of self, and find balance.

She also enjoys working with anxious stressed millennials who are maybe going through their own Quarter Life Crisis. She helps lost millennials find their direction and their strengths and leads clients to calm the chaos with self-compassion, acceptance, and researched based skills.

She also loves working with working with Teens of all kinds, especially female adolescences who have survived sexual Trauma. For adolescence the aftermath of trauma can appear as low self esteem, acting out, a terrible ‘attitude’, isolating, and more. She helps survivors of sexual trauma rebuild and reconnect. Through her counseling services, she supports individuals working through unresolved shame/guilt and feeling like it was their fault as well as individuals feeling alone, rejected by a friend group/family. Fun Fact: Kelly is an avid Browns and Ohio State fan and loves to golf and ski.
