Meet our Therapist Becky O’Dell
Becky O'Dell, LPC is a native of Kentucky but has fallen in love with Wilmington. She is loving this new chapter of her life at the beach. She has over 10 years of experience working in the field. Her therapeutic style is warm and welcoming, like your favorite elementary school teacher. She is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. Becky specializes in evidence base practices such as, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

Becky is passionate about helping all types of anxiety suffers find calm within the chaos. Becky is unique in that she understands what it's like to struggle with anxiety first hand. Therapys for anxiety is one of the most common forms of therapy sought. Anxiety can be painful and even crippling, dramatically interfering with one’s ability to live one’s life. Becky is skilled in helping individuals rid themselvess of overwhelming panic, generalized anxiety, and social anxiety to build the lives they want.
She also loves working with wonderful women. Especially women working through transitions like: new jobs, breakups, and divorce. She is a master at helping her clients develop healthy boundaries and assertiveness skills.
Becky has a compassionate understanding of the challenges of young adulthood and the millennial generation. She is eager to provide healthy positive tools to guide her clients to overcome the unique obstacles and social pressures the millennial generation faces.
Fun Fact: She has a sweet Golden Retriever rescue named Bradley and loves a good cup of coffee

UNDERGRADUATE, Becky received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in English from Eastern Kentucky University.
GRADUATE, Becky received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.
