Jennifer ‘Jenn’ Shrauger was raised on the Jersey shores but sees Wilmington now as her permanent home. Jenn works with adults, specifically moms and modern mid-lifers. In session, Jenn is calm and approachable, creating a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to naturally open up and settle into the therapy process.
Jenn’s treatment foundation is evidence-based and customized to fit each client’s individual needs. Jenn pulls from therapeutic techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
Jenn specializes in working with moms who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and exhausted. She knows firsthand the never-ending to-do lists, sleepless nights, and the mom-guilt that often comes with motherhood. Jenn helps moms identify early signs of overwhelm like overstimulation, anxiety and distraction, and works with them to replace unrealistic expectations with practical, acceptance-focused techniques. Jenn believes in empowering moms to cultivate presence, recharge their batteries, and implement practical life hacks to bring more ease, structure, and organization to their lives as they juggle a million hats.
Jenn is also passionate about working with modern mid-lifers who are navigating major role changes, shifts in their home and career dynamics, and ever-evolving relationships. This stage of life can feel like a fresh new chapter, but it’s also common to grapple with unease, a loss of identity, and anxiety and uncertainty about what comes next. This unease often manifests in sleepless nights spent pondering their purpose and constant questioning about their future direction. Jenn helps folks in their forties and fifties work through anxiety and uncertainty by setting realistic and achievable goals, reconnecting with values, and finding direction in this new chapter of life.
Fun Fact: Jenn loves hiking in the mountains and baking in her free time.
