Gilda Falso, LCMHC

Gilda is a living ball of energy. She’s fun, energetic, and super easy to talk to.

In sessions Gilda’s foundation is evidence-based infused with an appreciation for holistic care. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) infused with mindfulness to provide custom individualized treatment. But also pulls from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Radical Acceptance-Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Gilda is passionate about working with all anxiety suffers especially, those with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Feeling worry about (almost) everything is exhausting. Gilda helps those with GAD silence the chatter and begin living again.

Gilda is a master boundary setter. She helps individuals stop saying “yes” to shit they hate. Constantly trying to please everyone often means neglecting one’s own physical and emotional needs. Prioritizing self-care and trusting self, she helps her clients become more assertive. She helps empower her clients to say “no” to the needs of others and say “yes” to themselves.

Gilda specializes in treating individuals struggling with depression. She helps her clients kick shame and guilt and bring light and meaning to the darkness. She believes in the ability to heal ourselves that resides in us all.

Fun Fact: Gilda’s favorite sport is wave running.
