Morgan Stone, LCSWA

Morgan is a Southport native who has proudly called Wilmington, NC home for many years. She is passionate in her specialties serving school aged children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, OCD, and autism. In session, Morgan’s bubbly curiosity is balanced with just the right amount of hype so you leave feeling supported, energized, and ready to take on what comes next.

Morgan is certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and she practices with evidence-based modalities that are customized to fit each client’s individual needs. Morgan pulls from therapeutic techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Morgan specializes in working with teens and adults coping with anxiety of all kinds. Anxiety often shows up in the body as tension, restlessness, a racing heart, or feeling constantly on edge, especially in social or high pressure situations. Morgan helps clients better understand their dread, nervousness, and worry while building practical, body based skills to feel more grounded, confident, and at ease in daily life.

Morgan specializes in working with teens and adults with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). OCD can feel like being stuck in a loop of unwanted thoughts, doubt, and constant mental checking. This might show up as overthinking decisions, replaying conversations, or feeling pressure to get things “just right.” Morgan helps clients better understand their OCD patterns and build more compassionate, flexible ways of responding so these thoughts have less influence on daily life.

Morgan is uniquely equipped in working with school-aged children with autism and other neurodivergent differences. With training as a Registered Behavioral Technician, she uses structured plans, behavioral tracking, and play based interventions to build communication, coping, and daily living skills. Morgan creates supportive, engaging sessions and shares tools with caregivers so they understand how to carry the progress forward in their children’s lives across all environments.

Fun Fact: Morgan lived in Florida (Go Jags!) and paints banners for celebratory occasions and events.
